About the Author / Illustrator: Robin Kelley lives with her daughter, Terra, and husband, Brian, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, where she teaches elementary art. She enjoys nature, exercise of all kinds, camping, traveling, and creating art.

On November 3, 2018, Robin's Girl Scout troop #3055 was performing their first Adopt-a-Highway roadside cleanup when an impaired motorist crossed the center line and killed her daughter, Jayna, along with two other Girl Scouts and one parent. Another Girl Scout was seriously injured. A percentage of any profit earned from sales of this book will go to the Jayna Kelley Memorial Foundation. The foundation will use the money to support local organizations who help those in need.
