About the Author & Illustrator... Sisters Nancy and Kathryn team up again! Author Nancy Nolan has been an elementary school counselor, a parent educator, and a classroom teacher. This book is partially based on her experiences as a school counselor. She is a licensed school counselor in the state of Minnesota and a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

Illustrator Kathryn Scadden has had experience as a high school and college art instructor. She has exhibited at several Boston area galleries, is a board member of the Copley Society of Art, and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
