A Pixie's Transformation

When Evelyn and Reed Gunderson move into a new home, they’re puzzled by a series of mysterious happenings. Household items disappear and reappear. Cakes seem to magically frost themselves. About the Author: After growing up in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota, Faith Eilertson now resides in Wisconsin, where she retired early after twenty years as an elementary school teacher due to MS. She next pursued a degree from culinary school, where she put her skills to work as a caterer and pastry chef. The story of Artemis had been “stewing” inside her head for years before she put it down on paper to provide readers an enjoyable experience and bring a smile to their faces. If she isn’t baking a favorite recipe, Faith can be found spending time with her family and three French bulldogs—all of whom bring her countless daily smiles.

About the Illustrator: Kari Vick lives along the north shore of Lake Superior in Lutsen, Minnesota. For over thirty years her career took her from the high arctic to the northwest coast, in search of the art of distant lands. Family adventures, from the Himalaya Mountains to the fjords of Norway, have introduced her to enchanted beings around the world. She now works full-time as an artist and has illustrated nine books.
